ABOUT

Founded in 2023, EDJI is a contemporary art gallery dedicated to supporting a new generation of emerging artists. The gallery first operated as a nomadic programme, with exhibitions across Europe and the US, before establishing a permanent space in Brussels. This progression reflects a natural consolidation of the programme within a city that has become a key meeting point for galleries, institutions and collectors. The gallery works closely with its artists to present new bodies of work and support their development over time through a programme that moves between gallery exhibitions, art fairs and special projects.

EDJI focuses on ultracontemporary artists, with an emphasis on emerging and early-career practices. The programme brings together a diverse and distinctive roster of artists from across the world, reflecting the breadth of perspectives and cultural contexts shaping contemporary art today. Alongside its exhibitions, EDJI works with both new and established collectors, guiding those at the beginning of their journey while helping established collections engage with emerging artists. The gallery places importance on accessibility and transparency, with a focus on making the process of discovering and collecting art more direct and engaging.
