About the exhibition:
Created following Philippine d’Otreppe’s residency at Casa Voa in Rio de Janeiro, the exhibition brings together paintings, ceramics and archive material inspired by the city’s beaches, markets and everyday encounters. Moving between observation and imagination, d’Otreppe’s works capture the atmosphere of Rio through a playful and spontaneous visual language, where familiar objects, figures and motifs are subtly transformed.
