Carlos Rodriguez

Carlos Rodriguez is a figurative artist based in Mexico City. Initially trained in graphic design at the Universidad de San Luis Potosí, he transitioned from a career in advertising, as an illustrator and art director, to a professional painter.

His work explores themes of sexuality, gender, and identity through drawings, paintings, and ceramics that celebrate the male figure. Drawing inspiration from classical painting and naïve art, his work captures the essence of men immersed in natural expressions of play and fantasy.

Over the past four years, Rodriguez has brought his art to the global stage, exhibiting in renowned galleries across New York, Paris, Los Angeles, Sao Paulo, Hong Kong, and Dubai. This exhibition will mark his first solo presentation in Belgium.
