Daniel Fleur (b. 1992, Democratic Republic of the Congo) is a Swedish-based artist living and working in Malmö. He holds both a BFA and an MFA from Malmö Art Academy.

Drawing on traditional painting techniques, Fleur creates figurative works that explore the contradictions of contemporary life. His paintings depict familiar scenes of leisure, consumption and everyday pleasure, often revealing the tensions between personal desires, social expectations and the pursuit of happiness.

Combining realism with subtle humour and irony, Fleur examines themes of beauty, materialism, status and excess. His compositions often appear playful or lighthearted at first glance, yet invite multiple interpretations. Through this ambiguity, he questions the values and aspirations that shape modern society, without imposing a single narrative on the viewer.

Fleur has exhibited internationally, with solo exhibitions at KANT Gallery in Copenhagen, Stene Projects in Stockholm and Wadström Tönnheim Gallery in Malmö, among others. His work has also been presented in group exhibitions at Galerie Nathalie Obadia in Paris, Tang Contemporary Art in Singapore and WOAW Gallery in Singapore. His works are held in collections including X Museum, Malmö Art Museum and the Swedish Public Art Agency, as well as private collections across Europe, North America and Asia.
