This series traces the evolving dynamic between two sisters. Once defined by a childhood bond they called the “pink sistership,” their closeness carried maternal undertones shaped by linguistic and cultural distances at home. Now, as one sister becomes a mother herself, the artist paints in parallel, quietly observing the emotional shift. Made during the birth of a second daughter, these works distill intimacy into gesture. They speak of care, memory, and the subtle transformations that mark familial ties over time.
