EDJI Gallery presents Le Dîner Abandonné by Belgian artist Philippine d’Otreppe, an installation presented at Art Paris 2026. Combining ceramics and painting, the work recreates a traditional brasserie setting through a series of carefully staged tables.
Moving between mediums, the objects form scenes typical of a brasserie after service, with tables left behind and the traces of a shared moment still visible. Each setting suggests a different narrative, from a romantic dinner for two to a solitary coffee or the remains of a late night with friends.
