Resilient Pine, Still Water

This work by American artist Robert Martin was created for their European debut exhibition at EDJI Gallery in Brussels. Drawing on personal memory, nature and the visual language of religious art, Martin considers how experiences of grief, tenderness and wonder can heighten our awareness of the world around us and our connection to other people, places and living things.
