EDJI Gallery’s first participation in Art Paris, as part of the Promises section, featured a new body of work by Killion Huang — an immersive installation of 68 drawings and mirrors, alongside 9 paintings, all created specifically for the fair.
We’re thrilled to share that our Art Paris booth was highlighted in The Art Newspaper France.
In a glowing review of the fair, journalist Alexandre Crochet wrote:
"But one of the most remarkable successes undoubtedly goes to EDJI Gallery from Brussels, which inaugurated its permanent space in 2023 and is taking part in an international fair for the very first time."
"The large paintings and delicate pastels by young Killion Huang — highly sought after in both the US and China, where his work is part of major collections including the X Museum and A4 Museum — sold like hotcakes. The intimate and deeply human universe of this Chinese artist, trained at both the China Academy of Art in Hangzhou and the School of Visual Arts in New York, resonated far beyond just a queer audience at Art Paris."
